FJDMA Mission Statement

The Fairbanks Junior Dog Mushers’ Association, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation located in Fairbanks, Alaska. Our purpose is to engage exclusively in nonprofit activities designed to educate minors in the sport of dog mushing. Specifically, the nonprofit corporation shall endeavor to:

(1) promote and educate responsible dog care and dog training among minors;

(2) promote and encourage healthy dog mushing competition and

(3) promote the active participation by minors in the day-to-day management of the nonprofit corporation, to the greatest extent permitted by law.
